Passionate supporters of the pop star are calling for that a man who jumped a barricade and touched the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a event pathway accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though court documents revealed that he was set to appear on the following morning. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed features videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to block Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.
